Under Sections 23-14-3, 23-14-18, and 23-14-19, the Wildlife Board is authorized and required to regulate and prescribe the means by which wildlife may be taken.

Rule R657-52 provides the procedures, standards, and requirements for commercially harvesting brine shrimp and brine shrimp eggs. The provisions adopted in this rule are effective. Continuation of this rule is necessary for continued success in protecting, conserving, and managing the brine shrimp resource.
