In Section R156-67-102, these amendments provide definitions relative to the collaborative practice arrangement contract, terms, and approval requirement. In Section R156-67-302a, these amendments clarify the qualifications for licensure for all applicants applying for licensure as a physician and surgeon under the Utah Medical Practice Act, by defining the practitioner data banks used for verification and required for submission of an application. Section R156-67-807 is a new section added to this rule to establish and clarify the criteria for the collaborative practice arrangement contract between an associate physician and a collaborative physician.
