Section 54-4-1 provides the Commission authority and jurisdiction to supervise and regulate every public utility in this state, and to do all things necessary or convenient in the exercise of that power and jurisdiction.

No comments have been received in the last five years.

This rule remains necessary to continue to monitor and regulate the direct or indirect advertising expenditures of utility companies and to ensure that they are in the public interest. Therefore, this rule should be continued.
