Section 19-6-105 allows the Board to set minimum standards for protection of human health and the environment. These rules are required as a result of legislation passed in 2006 addressing the storage, collection, transportation, and recovery of mercury from automobile convenience switches.

No comments have been received.
Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:
The rule is necessary to establish safe standards for the removal, collection and storage of mercury switches from vehicles sold within the State of Utah. Therefore, this rule should be continued.
