Section 35A-1-104 contemplates that the Department will contract with other agencies, people, or entities in the performance of our duties. This rule spells out a provider's responsibilities and establishes a code of conduct that all providers are required to follow. This code of conduct requires providers to obey Utah and federal law.

No comments have been received in the last five years.
Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:
The rule is necessary to ensure that all providers paid by the Department comply with state law as outlined in this rule. Therefore, this rule should be continued.
