Subsection 53-3-109(6) gives the division authority to make rules to designate: 1) what information shall be included in a report on the driving record of a person; 2) the form of a report or copy of the report which may include electronic format; 3) the form of a certified copy, as required under Section 53-3-216, which may include electronic format; 4) the form of a signature required under this chapter which may include electronic format; and 5) the form of written request to the division required under this chapter which may include electronic format. Subsection 53-3-109(5) defines how long a driving record may be kept.

This rule needs to be continued to provide driving records to the public, insurance companies, law enforcement, and others who qualify under the Privacy Act.
