NOTICE OF REVIEW AND STATEMENT OF CONTINUATION

Concise explanation of the particular statutory provisions under which the rule is enacted and how these provisions authorize or require the rule:

Section 19-4-104 authorizes the Drinking Water Board to make rules in accordance with Title 63, Chapter 46a, as necessary to administer the Safe Drinking Water Act.

Summary of written comments received during and since the last five-year review of the rule from interested persons supporting or opposing the rule:

No comments have been received during the last five years opposing this rule.

Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:

This rule provides specific requirements for pump stations utilized to deliver drinking water to facilities of public drinking water systems throughout the state, and since the Board has not received comments opposing this rule, the Board feels it is prudent to continue this rule.
