As per Section 53-3-109, the division shall classify all its records, with some exceptions, and make the records available to the public with certain conditions. The division may also make rules to determine what information can be used for a driving record; type of forms to be used; provide certified copies; and utilize electronic formats as needed. The division may also collect fees.

This rule is needed to provide, upon request, driver license information to the public as defined in statute. Therefore, this rule should be continued.
