Promulgated under authority of Section 4-2-2(1)(e), this rule sets requirements for the uniform grading of cherries for fresh, frozen, or brine markets; sold or offered for sale by producers or handlers. Such grading standards shall not be established below any minimum standards now prescribed by law for this state.

The Utah Red Tart and Sour Cherry Marketing board met and agreed that the rule should stay as it is written, and the law requires this rule. Therefore, this rule should be continued.
