    This rule was promulgated under authority of Section 4-32-7 which requires the Department to enact rules for the keeping of records by custom exempt establishments.

    Summary of written comments received during and since the last five-year review of the rule from interested persons supporting or opposing the rule:

    The Department of Agriculture has received no comments supporting or opposing this rule.

    Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:

    The Department of Agriculture and Food licenses and inspects custom exempt establishments and requires that they keep records on the animals killed in their establishments. The law continues to require this rule; therefore, this rule should be continued.
