    NOTICE OF REVIEW AND STATEMENT OF CONTINUATION

    Concise explanation of the particular statutory provisions under which the rule is enacted and how these provisions authorize or require the rule:

    Section 53A-15-202 allows the Utah State Board of Education (Board) to establish minimum standards for Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs in the public education system and Subsection 53A-1-401(3) allows the Board to adopt rules in accordance with its responsibilities.

    No written comment has been received.

    Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:

    This rule is continued because it provides necessary standards and procedures for school districts seeking to qualify for funds administered by the Board for CTE programs in the public education system.
