NOTICE OF REVIEW AND STATEMENT OF CONTINUATION

Concise explanation of the particular statutory provisions under which the rule is enacted and how these provisions authorize or require the rule:

Section 63-11-17 states that the board may make rules to govern the use of the state park system. This rule specifically names reasons for revoking or suspending for a time permits that are abused, falsified, or traded.

Summary of written comments received during and since the last five-year review of the rule from interested persons supporting or opposing the rule:

No written comments have been received.

Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:

There are many types of permits issued, such as day use permits, camping permits, special use permits, etc. All carry rights and penalties if not followed. This rule states the penalties for violation of any of these permits, and should be continued to help with the direction of state parks.
