Section 63-11-17 authorizes the board to make rules governing the state park system, including public safety, peace, protection. This rule encompasses all rules in Section 63-11-17 and what can happen if these rules are violated, including expulsion by a ranger or other law enforcement officer and being prohibited from returning for 48 hours.

Summary of written comments received during and since the last five-year review of the rule from interested persons supporting or opposing the rule:

No written comments have been received.

Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:

All violation listed rules including expulsion as stated in this rule need to be defined and this rule supports Section 63-11-17 by listing what happens under expulsion from a park. Therefore, this rule should be continued.
