NOTICE OF REVIEW AND STATEMENT OF CONTINUATION

Concise explanation of the particular statutory provisions under which the rule is enacted and how these provisions authorize or require the rule:

Sections 62A-1-111 and 62A-4a-208 authorize the Office of the Child Protection Ombudsman to make rules in order to establish standards and procedures for investigations.

Summary of written comments received during and since the last five-year review of the rule from interested persons supporting or opposing the rule:

    No comments were received.

Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:

As Section 62A-4a-208 still requires standards and procedures for investigations, Rule R151-1 continues to be required as it provides those standards and procedures. Therefore, this rule should be continued.
