This rule is enacted under Section 79-4-501 and was created to protect state park visitors and resources. It allows employees of the Division of Utah State Parks and Recreation who are POST-certified peace officers to enforce rules for the protection of state park visitors and park property.

This rule was created to protect state park visitors and resources. It allows employees of the Division of Utah State Parks and Recreation who are POST-certified peace officers to enforce rules for the protection of state park visitors and park property. Therefore, this rule should be continued.
