Subsection 53C-1-302(1)(a)(ii) authorizes the director of the School and Institutional Trust Lands Administration to provide definitions which apply to all rules promulgated by the director and agency.

No written comments have been received by the agency concerning this rule.

Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:

This rule enables the School and Institutional Trust Lands Administration to clarify terminology used throughout the agency's rules. Without this rule, each individual program rule would need to contain definitions for program-related terms and there would be a substantial amount of repetition. Therefore, this rule should be continued.
