This rule is adopted pursuant to the rulewriting authority granted to the Division pursuant to Section 13-2-5, which provides that the Division may issue rules to administer and enforce the chapters listed in Section 13-2-1, including the Charitable Solicitations Act.

Since this rule was last reviewed, the Division has received no written comments with respect to the rule.

Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:

This rule provides, among other things, the definition of terms, the requirements for registration, and the procedure for denial, suspension and revocation of permits. The need for these provisions continues to exist. Therefore, the rule should be continued.
