This rule is promulgated under the authority of Sections 4-2-2 and 4-17-3. The Noxious Weed Act designates weeds that are troublesome in the state and counties. The Utah Noxious Weed Act gives us the authority to write rules pertaining to this Act.

No written comments have been received.
Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:
There was no opposition to the current rule. This rule should be continued to protect agriculture from the invasion of noxious weeds. Also, the law continues to require this rule.
