Under Sections 23-13-4, 23-14-18, and 23-14-19 the Wildlife Board is authorized to adopt rules for the possession, importation, purchase, propagation, sale, barter, trade or disposal of live game birds.

No written comments supporting or opposing Rule R657-4 have been received since 06/13/2007, when the rule was last reviewed.

Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:

Rule R657-4 provides the procedures and requirements for the possession, importation, purchase, propagation, sale, barter, trade or disposal of live game birds. The procedures adopted in this rule have provided an effective and efficient process. Continuation of this rule is necessary for continued success of this program.
