    Subsection 53A-6-306(1)(a) directs the Utah Professional Practices Advisory Commission (UPPAC) to adopt rules to carry out its responsibilities under the law.

    No written comments have been received.

    Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:

    This rule continues to provide necessary procedures for UPPAC to recommend educator discipline and to make licensing recommendations when applicants or renewals have drug related offenses. Therefore, this rule should be continued.
