Section 53A-13-109 directs that curriculum promoting respect for parents and home, morality, qualities of character, and respect for and an understanding of the Constitutions of the United States and the State of Utah be taught in connection with regular school work.

This rule continues to provide standards and procedures to help public school officials protect and accommodate individual rights in the operation of Utah's schools. Therefore, this rule should be continued.
