    NOTICE OF REVIEW AND STATEMENT OF CONTINUATION

    Concise explanation of the particular statutory provisions under which the rule is enacted and how these provisions authorize or require the rule:

    Subsection 63G-2-204(2) authorizes the division to make rules in accordance with Title 63G, Chapter 3, Utah Administrative Rulemaking Act, specifying where and to whom requests for records access shall be directed.

    Summary of written comments received during and since the last five-year review of the rule from interested persons supporting or opposing the rule:

    The Division of Wildlife Resources and the Wildlife Board have not received written comments, either in support or opposition to Rule R657-29 since the last five-year review on 05/03/2007.

    Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:

    Continuation of Rule R657-29 is necessary to provide an effective and efficient process prescribing where and to whom requests for information shall be directed and provide procedures for access to division records as allowed under Subsection 63G-2-204(2).
