    Section 26-8a-250 requires that the Department establishes rules for the designation of a statewide trauma system.

    No formal written comments were received in opposition to the current rule.

    Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:

    The rule was recently revised to reflect current needs. The rule was extensively reviewed by the Utah Trauma System Advisory Committee this past year to incorporate best practices in the system for patient care. Therefore, this rule should be continued.
