    Subsection 19-4-104(1)(a)(i) authorizes the Drinking Water Board to establish standards and provide for monitoring and reporting of water quality related matters.

    Summary of written comments received during and since the last five-year review of the rule from interested persons supporting or opposing the rule:

    No comments have been received either in support or opposing this rule.

    Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:

    The continuation of this rule will ensure that public drinking water systems in Utah are monitoring their sources of water for the required constituents at the correct times and in the correct intervals. This effort will greatly assist in protecting the quality and safety of the drinking water from the source through vast distribution systems to the end consumer, the public.
