Section 31A-19a-211 provides an opportunity for those who are 55 years of age or older to have a reduction in their motor vehicle insurance premium rates if they have successfully completed an approved motor vehicle accident prevention course as outlined in this rule.

This rule is needed so individuals over 55 can have an opportunity to lower their motor vehicle insurance premium rates by taking an approved motor vehicle accident prevention course based upon the criteria outlined in this rule. Therefore, this rule should be continued.
