Medicaid Nursing Facility Reimbursement  

  • The Division of Medicaid and Health Financing (DMHF) is submitting changes to the Medicaid State Plan throughAttachment 4.19-D, SPA 14-013-UT Quality Improvement Incentive. These changes are necessary to extend the program and to add a new subprogram of the quality incentive programs, called patient dignity, for nursing facilities in State Fiscal Year 2015 and beyond.

    Pending Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) approval, this amendment becomes effective on July 1, 2014.

    This amendment is not anticipated to result in a fiscal impact.
