NOTICE OF REVIEW AND STATEMENT OF CONTINUATION

Concise explanation of the particular statutory provisions under which the rule is enacted and how these provisions authorize or require the rule:

The purpose of this rule is to establish procedures for the administration of a point system for drivers age 21 and older as mandated by Subsection 53-3-221(4) and a point system for drivers age 20 and younger as mandated by Subsection 53-3-209(2).

No written comments have been received.

Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:

This rule should be continued to administer a point system for Utah drivers as mandated by statute so we can take administrative action, suspensions, etc., when needed.
