    Section 53A-29-102 requires the State Board of Education to provide rules for schools offering internships in connection with work experience and career exploration programs.

    No written comments have been received.

    Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:

    This rule provides necessary direction to schools/school districts for training for student interns, standards and procedures for off-campus work sites, transportation options, adequate insurance coverage, appropriate supervision and evaluation of students, and appropriate involvement and approval by the student's parents. Therefore, this rule should be continued.
