    NOTICE OF REVIEW AND STATEMENT OF CONTINUATION

    Section 4-32-7 directs the Department of Agriculture and Food to establish rules regarding the inspection of meat and poultry facilities, the licensing of these facilities, and the certification of meat and poultry products.

     

    Summary of written comments received during and since the last five-year review of the rule from interested persons supporting or opposing the rule:

    No written comments have been received.

     

    Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:

    This rule is established in order to prevent any contaminated or adulterated meat or poultry from entering into the market place for human consumption. Therefore, the rule should be continued.
