Notice for February 2010 Primary Care Network (PCN) Waiver Re-authorization

The Utah Department of Health is submitting a request to reauthorize the 1115 Primary Care Network (PCN) Medicaid Waiver for another three years. This will allow the Department to continue operating the Primary Care Network, Non-Traditional Medicaid, High Risk Pregnancy, and Utah's Premium Partnership for Health Insurance (UPP) through June 2013. In addition, the Department will seek to amend UPP to allow subsidies for coverage under private health plans and for coverage through the Utah Comprehensive Health Insurance Pool (HIPUtah). The proposed change is subject to Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) approval.
