    This rule is established pursuant to Subsection 63A-9-401(1)(b) which requires the Division of Fleet Operations (DFO) to establish one or more fleet automation and information systems for state vehicles.

    Summary of written comments received during and since the last five-year review of the rule from interested persons supporting or opposing the rule:

    No written comments have been received.

    Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:

    The purpose of this rule is to ensure that state vehicles and miscellaneous equipment under the ownership or control of all state agencies are accounted for and properly inventoried. This rule is required in fleet statute. Therefore, this rule should be continued.
