Subsection 53A-17a-107(2) requires the State Board of Education to enact rules which require a certain percentage of a district's/charter school's professional staff to be certified in the area in which they teach in order for the district to receive full funding under the state statutory schedule.

This rule provides standards for districts to receive funding based on licensed professional staff as required by state law. Therefore, this rule should be continued.
