This rule is established pursuant to Section 63A-9-401(1)(d) which authorizes the Division of Fleet Operations to establish the requirements for the use of state vehicles, including business and personal use practices, and commute standards.

No comments have been received over the past five years from interested persons supporting or opposing this rule.

Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:

This rule is required to define the vehicle use standards for state employees while operating a state vehicle. Therefore, this rule should be continued.
